Supermedia approached us with the problem that all their sales reps were out in the field using a varying array of presentation tools that were not representative of what the company was capable of. We assembled a suite of tools for them that allowed for a unified presentation system to be used by their national sales team. We built an application on top of their Salesforce implementation that allowed them to find a potential contact in Salesforce and click a button that would send authentication them against Salesforce and send the customer data over to our application. The rep would be presented with a 3 page presentation builder that would allow them the customize the presentation date, the customer name and then allow them to choose the parts of the presentation they wanted to show. On the back-end, the system was gathering statistics and photos based on the clients location and industry and assembling the final presentation. Once the presentation was build in the admin, the user would download it to their desktop application and be able to play that presentation anytime they wanted to – either online or offline. The desktop application was built using Adobe Air and the online admin was ASP.NET, C# and initiated a command line to compile a customized SWF file that was imported into the Air application.
